• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information

For Startups:

• Provide clear project requirements and expectations
• Offer meaningful feedback and learning opportunities
• Respect student schedules and academic commitments
• Acknowledge student contributions and achievements
• Support student learning and professional development

For Mentors:

• Provide guidance that encourages growth and learning
• Share knowledge and experience generously
• Support both students and startups impartially
• Maintain appropriate professional boundaries
• Foster inclusive and welcoming environments

The following behaviors are not tolerated:

• Harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate personal conduct
• Sharing false information about experience, skills, or achievements
• Unauthorized disclosure of confidential or proprietary information
• Attempting to circumvent platform processes or policies
• Using the platform for non-educational or commercial solicitation
• Creating multiple accounts or impersonating others
• Engaging in behavior that disrupts others' learning or work

Project Work:

• Deliver work that meets agreed-upon quality standards
• Submit original work and properly attribute any external sources
• Meet deadlines or communicate delays as early as possible
• Test and review work before submission

Platform Participation:

• Keep profile information accurate and up-to-date
• Participate actively in assigned projects and discussions
• Provide honest feedback in reviews and evaluations
• Report issues or concerns through appropriate channels

Respect intellectual property rights:

• Do not share or use proprietary information without permission
• Properly attribute sources and inspiration in your work
• Respect licensing terms for open-source and third-party resources
• Understand and follow project-specific IP agreements

If you encounter inappropriate behavior or policy violations:

• Report issues promptly through the platform reporting system
• Provide specific details and evidence when possible

Violations of these guidelines may result in:

• Warning and guidance for minor first-time violations
• Temporary suspension for repeated or serious violations
• Permanent removal from the platform for severe misconduct
• Notification to educational institutions or employers when appropriate
